We can’t wait to show you what Fibre Studio sent us!

JUST IN!!! Fibre Studio in North Carolina has sent us FIVE fabulous cartons of their amazing hand-dyed beauties!! Gradients and other delicious hand-dyed goodies are here for a special week of knitty fun and color starting this week on Tuesday! Superwash Merino Fingering, Sea Song, Merino Bamboo, delicious blends of silk and merino in lace and fingering weights….Color Play Kits of generous mini-skeins perfectly coordinated for shawls and accessories…it’s all going to be on display for a trunk show and sale that shows you the possibilities and makes it easy to create a unique piece! They’ve sent along lots of samples to inspire us and the trunk show came with a collection of projects that highlight what YOU can do with their beautiful base yarns. For the trunk show, you’ll save 15% on a single skein and 20% on two or more skeins.  We’ll also be able to special order if there’s anything you need additional skeins of. These are some of the most amazing fiber bases and delicate colors. Debbie, owner of Fibre Studio says, “We pride ourselves on our colorfastness, consistency, and fiber selection in generously-proportioned skeins and cakes”.

And, as some of you know, we’ve stocked the 50 Shades of Gradients for about a year, but this show includes a whole new batch of gradient colors in their famous 561 yard cakes ready for your needles!

If you ordered some Mountain Colors at that trunk show, they girls are busy dying it all and getting it ready to ship…any day more boxes will be arriving…we’re doing our best to hurry our UPS man!

Also, the summer class schedule is out and ready for your review, we’re delighted to offer to some exciting new project classes and a couple of old favorites that we haven’t offered in a while (yes, the Aranami Shawl is making a return!). So no matter what level of knitter or crocheter you may be there’s sure to be something of interest. Ready for a first swing at a garment? Missie will guide you through an easy top-down summer cardigan, there’s also an intro to Brioche class, a new lace beauty called Farlam and more. It’s all ready for you, it will be in the shop and online for you to download. Turn up that air conditioning and come knit/crochet with us this summer!

Shout out to Myrna S. who brought in something that stopped us all in our tracks, a beautiful lacy (but easy) shawl called Beckley by Dee O’Keefe – just the right mix of easy and interesting and it’s in DK weight. She used three skeins of Baah Sonoma and now we’re all scheming on how to get one of our own! Prepare to see some lovely finished objects!

See you around the big table,

The Tucson Yarn Co. Crew
