What Will YOU Knit and Crochet in 2017?

MONDAY, JAN 2 – OPEN 10am-5:30pm
Happy 2017 to all!
Here at TYC, we’re already thinking ahead to which projects go on our needles first, but also how we’ll accomplish a few more finished objects that have been languishing in our knitting bags! Of course, we’re also mulling over which new skills we’d like to pick up this year and to that end our biggest schedule of the year for knitting and crochet classes is finally READY! We’ve got lots of new classes for all levels of knitters and crocheters and if this is your year to try something new, we’ve got you covered!
Fair Isle, or stranded knitting, is big on the radar screen this season and there are two different classes to get you going in “two-fisted” knitting. Ready for a top down sweater with minimal finishing? Try the Dunes Top Down Toddler Pullover class. More sock classes, a new lace class that will have you understanding charts like a pro…it’s all on the new winter schedule!

By the way, we’re thrilled to be stockists for Elemental Affects Hand-dyed Shetland fingering weight wool in full and mini-size skeins. The range of colors is breathtaking! We’ve got a huge group of favorites lined up in our Ravelry folders. And for those of you who have been waiting, our big order of new Juniper Moon Moonshine is IN!

Also new, beautiful YARN BOWLS in wood for your knitting and crocheting projects! These are big enough to hold multiple balls and even entire projects…a variety of wood finishes and sizes make organizing that knitting table easy.

So, hop on in for a little fiber therapy or to make use of your gift certificate . Sit for a bit and unwind with a little knitting around the big table, start the year off with some “you” time!

See you around the big table,

The Tucson Yarn Co. Crew
