April 28th, 2012 The Koigu Has Landed at Tucson Yarn Co.
Thanks to all who brought in their offerings for Stash Amnesty at Tucson Yarn! We went over the 400 lb. mark again this year! The Project Linus Tucson folks will be sorting, knitting, and crocheting away for quite a while thanks to your generosity. For those of you who got Tucson Yarn Co. Bucks for your stash, you’ll have until the end of 2012 to “spend” them in the store. Great job!!!
Spring is the perfect time to expand your horizons with some exciting new classes and we’ve got you covered! Click on the link to the right of this message and download the latest class schedule and pick your favorites. Get your calendar out and check the dates, these always fill fast! More sections of Ava’s popular felted slipper class, Cyd’s Web Wonders (yes, it’s a bonanza for knitters/crocheters on the web), Churchmouse’s Turkish Bed Socks (start these now for a jump on holiday knitting!) and a terrific little top down cardigan class will have you making a wonderful baby/toddler sweater in no time. Check it out!
And just to tempt you further, the Koigu KPPPM, a beautiful hand painted fingering weight merino from Ontario we’ve been not-so-patiently waiting for is finally starting to arrive…look for it’s “unveiling” in the next few days! If you love the Churchmouse Yarn & Tea patterns like Barb’s Ruffled Scarf, the Linen Stitch Scarf, Beaded Beret and Turkish Bed Socks - you have seen how versatile and colorful these yarns are (Churchmouse designers LOVE Koigu KPPPM).
Big doings this spring here at TYC, be a part of the fun, keep those needles and hooks flying’. Can you believe we’ve heard rumblings of holiday knitting already?!?!
Peace, love & knitting,
The Tucson Yarn Crew
